What is Time-Based Pricing and how do I set Time Slots?

Below are the step-by-step guidelines on what Time-Based Pricing means and how to configure Time Slot Pricing in Revenue Management:

Time-Based Pricing allows you to schedule when your dynamic pricing rules should run.
Instead of adjusting prices continuously in real-time, the system will only update prices during the specific time slots you choose.
This gives you more control, prevents frequent price fluctuations, and helps you manage pricing updates at predictable times (e.g., every morning at 9 AM).

1. Open Revenue Management:
   • Log in to your Stayflexi dashboard.
   • Click the four-boxes (More Apps) icon and select Revenue Management.
2. Open Dynamic Pricing:
   • Click Dynamic Pricing in the left sidebar.
   • Select Time Slot Configuration.
3. Enable Time Slot Mode:
   • Turn ON the toggle for Time-Based Pricing.
   • This switches dynamic pricing from real-time updates to scheduled time-based updates.
4. Add a Time Slot:
   • Click “Add Time Slot.”
   • Enter the exact time you want the pricing rules to run (e.g., 09:00 AM or 2:00 PM).
5. Save the Time Slot:
   • Click Save to activate the time slot.
   • From now on, pricing rules will only be applied at these scheduled times.
6. Remove or Edit Time Slots:
   • Click an existing time slot to edit its time.
   • To delete, click the delete option.
   • Save changes to update your time-based pricing schedule.
