How do Rate Templates work and how do I create one?

Rate Templates allow you to store predefined pricing structures for different seasons, events, or special periods.
Instead of manually updating each date on the calendar, you can create templates (such as High Season, Low Season, Weekend Rates, Festival Rates) and apply them instantly to any date range with just one click.
This ensures pricing is consistent, faster to update, and reduces errors across your property.

Below are the step-by-step guidelines on what Rate Templates are and how to create and apply them:

  1. Go to Revenue Management:
    • Log in to your Stayflexi dashboard.
    • Click the four-boxes (More Apps) icon.
    • Select Revenue Management.
  2. Open Rate Templates:
    • Click Rate Templates from the left menu.
  3. Add a New Template:
    • Click “Add Template.”
    • Enter a template name (examples: Winter Rates, High Season Rates, Festival Rates).
  4. Enter Room Pricing:
    • For each room type, enter the base rate or seasonal rate that should be saved in this template.
    • Add weekday/weekend variations if applicable.
  5. Save the Template:
    • Click Save.
    • Your template will now appear in the Rate Templates list.
  6. Apply the Template to Dates:
    • Click Apply Template or open the calendar tool.
    • Select the start date and end date you want to apply the template to.
    • Choose the template you created from the dropdown list.
    • Click Apply.
  7. Rates Will Instantly Update:
    • All selected dates will automatically update to the pricing defined in the template.
    • Your property’s rate strategy becomes consistent and easier to manage.
