How do I assign housekeeping staff to specific rooms for cleaning?

Below are the step-by-step guidelines to assign Housekeeping staff to rooms from the Stayflexi Housekeeping:

Method 1: From the Housekeeping Dashboard

  1. Open the Housekeeping Page:
    Click on the Housekeeping icon (4th icon from the left on the top menu).
  2. Select Room(s):
    • Use the checkbox beside the room(s) you want to assign.
    • You can select one or multiple rooms at a time.
  3. Click on the “Actions” Dropdown:
    • From the dropdown options, choose “Assign Staff for Cleaning.”
  4. Assign Staff:
    • A small pop-up will appear showing the list of available housekeeping staff.
    • Select the staff member you want to assign and click Save.
  5. Confirmation:
    • The Staff Name and Email will now appear beside each assigned room in the table.
    • The room status and staff remark (if added) will be visible instantly.

Method 2: From the Configuration to Room Assignment Page :

If you want to set permanent staff assignments so that a particular staff is automatically assigned every time that room becomes dirty:

  1. Click on the Configuration icon on the right-hand side of the Housekeeping page.
  2. Select “Room Assignment.”
  3. Choose a Room Number and Assign Staff permanently.
  4. Click Save.
    • From now on, whenever that room becomes dirty, it will auto-assign to the same staff member.

NOTE: To add a staff member’s name or email in the Room Assignment section, you must first add them under
Property Configuration → Users & Access Control.
Once the user is created there, their details will automatically reflect in the staff list for Room Assignment.
